The world of animated music videos is one that allows for experimentation and short storytelling. It’s an opportunity to be creative over a few minutes, using animation to give meaning to the lyrics and rhythm of the music. We had the privilege of shooting all 46 sponsored idents for TK Maxx and Homesense, which have been featured during the advert breaks on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch for over a year. Each set of idents (ranging between 5-15 seconds each) took 2 weeks to produce. It was quite a feat, as the project took up all of our studio space at once, but as you know, we love a challenge here at A+C Studios!

During the Coronavirus lockdown, at A+C Studios we were given our biggest challenge to date; to create a stop-motion animation in just three days under the national COVID-19 guidelines. It was for our client LEGO Group on behalf of the UK Government so we wanted to make sure we got this done to the very best of our ability and delivered on time.
Video is set to rule social media in 2019, it’s been an upward trend since 2016 and today it’s never been so important. It’s simple, audiences engage better with moving pictures and social platforms reward this. From a personal page right through to the largest brands on the platforms everyone is using video, even Instagram, a channel built to showcase still imagery, has evolved its platform to keep up with this trend.
